The Day Atheism Goes Extinct

The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him. The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in agony and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.

Revelation 16:8-11 – 

During the Great Tribulation it gets so bad on the earth we see here, people will no longer be able to deny God’s existence or power or claim he is not real, they will know beyond a shadow of a doubt it is God is real and very angry at sin. Here we see it will be so obvious that they can no longer blame every disaster on climate change or stuff like that but they will know this is a direct punishment from God.

Even then we see that they “refused to repent od what they had done”- thats so serious to think that these proud hearted people would rather suffer such torment than agree God is right and his ways are just. Yet there are people who will suffer so much just because their pride keeps them from it. Some will say “Id rather perish and be eternally condemned by God on high then admit he is truly right” We see the horrible nature of sin in this- sin so black that it would rather suffer horribly than repent and do right. Some sadly charge headlong into destruction faster than a horse into battle- they would rather do what “I will” and destroy their lives and souls- than say “Your will be done” and save themselves. Imagine people so stubborn that you try to talk them out of self destructing they fight you if you do. They basically say “I choose death, destruction- I will make your life difficult if you try to talk me out of my own grave and eternal fate of everlasting sorrow!”
