Sowing While Suffering

Restore our fortunes, Lord, like streams in the Negev. Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.

(Psalm 126:4-6)

So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good. (1 Peter 4:19}

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. {Galatians 6:9-10}

Continue to scatter good seeds, even if you weep along the way- may God use your tears as the water to cause the seeds to grow.

Keep on rising and scattering good near ans abroad, offer up your sorrow as sacrifice to God. Keep planting good and showing kindness and love along the way, and trust and wait for harvest and the light of a brighter day!

Seeds sown in sorrow, can bring forth great blessings of tomorrow!
