Some of the hardest of trials we go through are the most glorious experiences in our walk of faith. Only because: in these times, it is as even God shares his secrets in the midst of suffering. This was the case with John, exiled on the Island of Patmos, and he there wrote Revelations. Paul who spent a large portion of his life in prison for the Gospel also partook in the secrets Christ revealed. Jeremiah who was “The weeping prophet” was told “Call to me and I will show you great unsearchable things that you do not know.” And these moments, glory moments they are, where in the midst of darkness all around it is as if God opens the window of heaven and draws the soul up to show them marvelous things.
