Christians are not perfect, some follow Christ a lot better than others but at the heart of the issue I would say most people who like to blame Christians for the problems in the world is because the teachings in the Bible often oppose human agenda and desire. They blame Christians as being intolerant narrow minded unkind hypocritical bigots, even though many organizations, food pantries and charities are of Christian faith. People would be more tolerant of Christianity if it were not intolerant to man’s sinfulness and pride, people now are no better than they were in Christ’s day, they loved his miracles and merciful acts of kindness but not the truth he brought to confront man of his sin. This is not surprising though because Jesus said himself “Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. Whoever hates me hates my Father as well.” John 15:20-23 “- this world does not like Jesus for the message of sin and punishment after death. They do not like a message of repentence and turning to follow. People like to be in control. They don’t like Christ or his message but they have no problem with his miracles and free lunches.
John 3:18-20 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.
