We have all heard this expression, but did you know God feels this way about you? When it seems like others see you as unworthy and unlovable, God sees you as priceless and redeemable. -“The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” -1 Samuel 16:7
God judges no man according to his appearance, material possessions or social status. He is swayed not by popular opinion or impressed by what people are thrilled by. Every person matters to him and he showed us this when he took the it upon himself to hang there and bleed on the cross in our place. Dear friend, whoever you may be, remember those paintings that no one seems to see any value in except for the one art fanatic who will invest a fortune in that one painting? Is that not how God sees us? Is this not how he sees you? Willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice, not millions of dollars but his very own life and blood. The value of your life is not what you set on it, nor what others set on it, but on what the master painter has chose to pay for it.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
